Quick recap...

It has been a wild last 5-6 days...
* The real big news is that we accepted an offer on our house in Charlotte (it has been on the market for 14 months). If all goes according to plan, we will close the week of Christmas. A huge relief, as one can only image.
* Next up... we had a birthday bash for TJ on Sunday... 6 days after his 'real' birthday, but it worked out the best to get all the family folks over to the house. Monster is 3 now, seemingly going on 11. If you have little ones, you know exactly what I mean!
* I then spent Sunday through Wednesday traveling for work to meetings in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
During my travels I was able to hang a bit with Captain... he cooked an awesome pizza for me, and his oldest daughter read a bedtime story to me. Priceless. We also managed to get some miles in together in McAlpine and spend time discussing marathon strategies, etc. for December 12th.
Also, while roaming the southeast, I headed out with Anti-Hov for an evening of catch-up... as he filled me in on all things dealing with the Charlotte running scene. Glad to see him coaching again - I hope he gets what he deserves here soon with a upcoming announcement.
